Microsoft has released Microsoft .NET 4.7 as a part of Windows automatic updates. It turns out that this cause some issues for Autodesk products. Autodesk Knowledge Base informs that the products don’t work. However, Robert Green says that it affects the interaction with Ribbon. You probably can start the product anyway, but you can’t use the Ribbon. And it is more likely that the affected products are the older versions.
The solution is to uninstall .NET 4.7 and replace it with 4.6.2 until Autodesk release the fix. Keep in mind that supported versions now are 2015 to 2018. So if you use an older version than that, Autodesk probably will not release the fix for you.
You can read the detailed solution on Autodesk Knowledge Network here: Autodesk products not working after installing .NET Framework 4.7
Hi, I have Autodesk Building Design Premium 2013 and both AutoCAD 2013 and ACA 2013 crashes when I click the ribbon and/or quick start icons, after install Windows 10 1703 which cames with .Net Framework 4.7 or Windows 10 1607 with .Net Framework 4.7/4.7.1 upgrade.
My Dell desktop has touchscreen feature, and I found this week an interesting topic in this Autodesk forum that solved my problem (so far now).

You will need to Open the following file in Notepad “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20xx\acad.exe.config” and you can read the entire solution in the link above.
I hope I could help you!
