Automatic Lock When Aligning Elements in Revit

February 18, 2022 by Edwin Prakoso Leave a Comment

Autodesk adds new enhancements not only in new releases, and they also add enhancements in the product updates now. Most of the enhancements are minor, but many are interesting features.

In Revit 2022.1, we have an option to lock when aligning elements automatically. It doesn’t seem much, but if you do a lot of alignment, like arranging furniture or creating families, then it is handy.

The options for align tool is now on the contextual ribbon tab.

Instead of clicking the lock icon every time you align elements, now you can enable the lock option.

See the video below on how it works.
