Autodesk Data Connector for Power BI is Now Available

December 5, 2024 by Edwin Prakoso Leave a Comment

I created this Power BI dashboard a few months ago and added the 3D model using Autodesk Data Connector for Power BI beta. It is now graduated from beta and available for the public.

You can read more about this release here: https://aps.autodesk.com/blog/autodesk-data-connector-power-bi-now-generally-available

It is handy to visualize your project information with a 3D model. However, if you need to link the 3D model with the other tables, you must link the element ID. I didn’t see the element GUID available, so I used the IFC GUID to link the 3D model elements with my assets.
